Young with her whole life ahead of her
Yes, a very fortunate life. I listened to the poem by Wilfred Owen that you put on your page, very moving. I have seen some photos of the young soldiers on the internet and TV, so young, scarcely more than boys. I am so lucky my father was a soldier in the 2nd WW, he came home to us. The peace and prosperity of my lifetime owes a great deal to those lives lost so young.
Lovely to see you!xxx
I still feel like the same person, perhaps a little less hopeful. So easy for decision makers to make the wrong decisions and so hard to make the right ones. Some changes on the outside of me. someone on the radio today said its the things that happened last week I forget, things that happened in my childhood I remember clearly. I’m a very lucky person still looking after myself and my dear husband. We look after each other.
Thank you for your kind words, I hope lots of good things are happening to you and Christmas is on the horizon. xxx
